2 lbs. hamburger
1 c. milk
2/3 c. oatmeal
3 tbsp. dried onion flakes or raw onion
Brown patties but do not cook until done. Put in flat pan.
SAUCE:
1 c. catsup
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
6 tbsp. onion flakes
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. brown sugar
Bring to boil and pour over hamburger. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Cover with foil and take off the last 15 minutes.
2 med. onions, chopped
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. red pepper
3/4 c. catsup
1 tsp. chili powder
3/4 c. water
2 tbsp. butter or bacon fat
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
Mix first 9 ingredients together. In a frying pan, brown the meat, add the first mixture. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Serve over mashed potatoes, hamburger buns as sloppy joes.

1 c. chopped onion
Put in pint jar and shake well. Brown 2 pounds hamburger and 1 cup chopped onions in a little fat. Add salt and pepper to taste. When meat is browned, drain off fat and blend in barbecue sauce. Simmer uncovered 15 minutes. Serve on hot buns.

2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. brown sugar
Brown onion and hamburger; drain off grease. Add remaining ingredients and simmer about 20 minutes.

1 can chicken gumbo soup
1 tbsp. mustard
3 tbsp. ketchup
Salt & pepper
Brown hamburger and onion. Add other ingredients and simmer about 1/2 hour. Serve in hamburger buns.
